Well there´s the Oktoberfest till 3rd October in Munich :-)
If you wanna enjoy some sun: Milan, Rome, Athens or Barcelona.
If you want "beach vacation" I´ll have to agree, Turkey is the cheapest country (although not in Europe).
The south of Greece (Crete) and Spain (Andalusia) is still warm.
