I have heard mixed things about whether or not electronics are allowed on flights leaving from Europe and headed to the US. Since I am planning to vacation to France in November and will be flying out of Paris to return to the States, I would like to know if I will be allowed to bring my PDA and DS Lite on the flight. Any thoughts or experiences?

leave your electronics at home. An American travelling with his or her electronic goodies in view is not a good idea anywhere overseas. At every step and turn and most especially in the free "reign" of an airport with people making $20 a day and colluding with other security to steal your hard earned gear. check it or leave it at home:)

I just came back from Paris to NY. You can bring these things on the plane. However, everyone's bags were checked right before boarding. If you have these items in your bag, the searchers could be suspicious and then they may go through everything in your carry on bag. It's a real pain in the butt to have your entire bag searched, everything taken out, and you have to re pack everything - and you're holding up the line while people are trying to board, etc. So, if I were you, if you can live without them, just put them in your checked luggage.

The very best thing you can do is to ask your travel agency or check out their website. You can also check your embassy website in the US, this will give you all the advise you need regarding travel restrictions and health requirements too.

With the restrictions that airlines are subjecting their passengers to, you'll be lucky if you're not handcuffed naked to a chair for the duration of the flight.

confident, actually. yet additionally, in the event that they convey about you the incorrect drink or in any different case fail to look once you precise, you are able to record them to the supervisor Steward. and then, if he thinks the criticism's justified, he will supply you a paddle and you will spank the offending stewardess on her bare backside. you are able to keep the paddle as a keepsake, too!
