I met a Filipina in myasianrose, she asks me to help her financially to process her US tourist visa to come and visit me in NYC. I have doubts that Us embassy in Manila will give Visa to someone unless you have at least $10,000 USD in your bank account as guarantee money and a great job in the Philippines. Should I send the money to help her to process USA tourist VISA papers even If I think she will not get it?

The other day that I asked the question, I was not specific about which San Francisco.
The reason I ask this, is that I am worried. I have a friend that went there to marry a woman he met in the Internet. I received some text messages from him, saying things are really bad (like gangs on the streets and such). I have looked in the Internet, but I really don't find any information and the short text messages, are not informative enough. Help!!
