It is interesting to note that the population of Metro Manila differs in the morning and in the evening. A few years back they placed the day population at an estimate of 10M, and at night time around 4 to 6M. I hope i still got the figures right. Though,my point is there are more ppl (substantial no.) in M.M. in day time as compared to night time. When you come to think of it, most of the workforce in manila do come from nearby provinces like laguna, bulacan etc. (that are considered as not-so provincial =) ) because the cost of living is not as expensive as compared to manila. You know naman the minimum wage in the phils is not so much. =(

I don't have the current statistical figure but the population of Manila alone at present would be a little more than 2Million. A safe estimate based on the available population figure of 1,581,082 persons for year 2000 and based on the trending figure of 2.5M by year 2015.

i think the second answer is correct. when i was there last year it seemed like the biggest city i've ever been to, it actually is for me, so yeah millions. they should rename manila to Metropolis.

probably 39487598751560 gazillion.since there are so many people here with like15 kids that dont want to use birth control so they keep having babies till they cant have anymore.and live in squatter areas.pretty soon theres not gonna be anymore more here in the philippines for more people!
