Well, it's really hard to accept the reality that there are really people who don't know how to brush their teeth, and their mouth really stick that affects their head!!! goodluck to those people!!! and just to remind them, prostitution is far much open in other country than in philippines. Africa, is where the first case of AIDS if i'm not mistaken and they had the big number in the latest stat that carry these syndrome!!! Yeah right USA is a prostitution free country, who says?!? USA had the very high stat in premarital sex and early pregnancy cases even divorce. Do you think this is not a case of prostitution? I am a Filipino and you should be admired by your support for the Filipino image. But I don't think going this far will help you get over what you feel. I don't think you should take everything here in Yahoo Answers personally. You have other things that you should be concerned of someday.

Yes, the person who answered that question sucks, but what the heck, he's just a person like you and he makes bad impression on other people as much as you make too.

Better of start making an impression for other foreigners on what true Filipino are. The real hospitable, cheerful and warm Filipinos.

Forget the guy. That is the only kind of environment he knows and therefore could comment on. He is an ignorant oaf who does not deserve your raves. And perhaps he has not even experienced getting out of his country to experience being the foreigner and to interact with the people of the land visited. He is just jealous that we could travel regardless of reason, whether for work or tourism. He may just begrudge any foreigner around him, especially Filipinos who know a lot more than him. Imagine these colored, petite, small nosed Asians being able to go to his country and he has not even gone around his own. Who maybe does not even know that going to one part of his country he needs to take a plane and not a train. And what more, he might not even have a perfect knowledge of the grammar of his own language. So, what would you expect of him???? Isn't he pitiful?

I'm affected but we know that we know a lot better than this person. He sounds uneducated anyway and doesn't know much about the Philippines. Just leave him alone. If you don't give him damn attention, he would shut up in time.

I can understand your rage at his demoralizing and crude statement. My fiance' is filipino, my brothers and sisters are all half filipino, and some of my best friends are pinoy. It irritates me that someone would post that kind of negativity. I think that he was trying to irritate others, not give a serious answer.
