it could happen with the kind of government that we have. they could do it anytime they want to. the arroyo regime has always disregarded human rights even up to the extent of taking a person's life.

The government will not benefit in Satur's early demise.It will only make a hero out of a bandit who profess love for his country when in truth he don't care whom and how many Filipino lives he sacrifice for his lunatic dreams (personal ambition).
Only the brainless in the military and police are making the bungles coz they are clueless on how to remove Satur from Congress. They could have handled him better if they instead neutralize the source of his funds; because as it is; he and his co-horts are self-destructing. Only the Martial Law babies believe that their presence in Congress will make a difference. But so far, they only succeeded in destroying our confidence and faith in Institutions which our fore fathers left us. What a let down!
These "progressive groups kuno" were only used by their Maoists masters; they destroyed the jobs of many Filipinos to make the investors move to their country and get the jobs for their countrymen where labor unions and pickets and rallies are not allowed. Have you noticed how they piggy-back-ride on the right to "organize-and-decent wages crap" (legalized Mafia) from the US? Where are the jobs now? What decent wages are there for the jobless Pinoys?
The US crap about protecting democracy and kleptocracy brought us this misserable situation; using the Philippines as showcase in bungling an economy and peace and order. American made guns against American made guns to defend human rights, and the World Trade Org. (a world sanctioned economic bullying organization) are the samples of US good economic policy? Arm twisting policies so they could remain masters in this part of the world but they forgot to guard the kitchen where the Chinese is now well entrenched.
Chinese business fronts are destroying the economies of countries in their expansion list. A pull out of Chinese investment in the US Stock Market will erase the Wallstreet .
After the Constitutional Amendments and because Juan's agriculture was destroyed by cheap imports from China, Juan will then sell his "bahay-kubo" to the "traders and investors" then he will end up buying produce imported cheaply from China.
When the money is gone; the bahay-kubo is also gone, where else are you going Juan? Sell yourselves as slaves in other countries. YES. Because what is the use of democracy if your children are hungry?
And because the silent giant has awaken, it is ready to play. Philippines and Japan will be the play grounds of US and Chinese militaries.
Soon, Japan will be the most highly industrialized PROVINCE OF CHINA and PHILIPPINES AND INDONESIA will supply its labor force. KOREA will be its security guards and Taiwan a big JOKE.
Where is US in the scenario? No more. A spent force destroyed by its arrogance.
And where are the Saturs then? In the heap of rags which has served their purpose.
I pray that I would not be alive when these things happen.

I dont think so! The people in the government should better learn from the Aquino assassination in 1983 when the economy in the Philippihes really went down.

I certainly hope not. But with the current dispensation, one cannot be sure, especially in regards to those who go agains their wishes no matter how diabolical. The military has gone trigger happy because they have a leader and cohorts that lack morals, making them believe they can do as they please just like she does..... running roughshod over others.

Anytime. He together with other leftist partlist (Gabriela, Anak Pawis, Bayan Muna, etc...). They are all "TERRORIST" hiding and receiving huge amount of budget from the government. The very same budget they buy guns and bullets to kill our soldiers. They MUST be elliminated now for our country to have peace. (Include also their leader hiding and enriching themselves abroad)
