I wrote ABS CBN in possibly considering me into the Music Industry. Is there a stepping stone where I can first start before doing this? I've auditioned for American Idol Season 6, America's Got Talent Season 2, Friday Night Lights Promotional Inteview in Santa Monica, Ca. Global Entertainment, and Posh Entertainment. Please let me know if anyone here know how to start getting into the Music Industry..

Good dream but it's not easy doing it in an instant. You have to join numerous auditions and contests to see how active you are and how eager you are in becoming one. Most singers in the Philippines have been through all of these. The next time a big competition happens, don't hesitate to join because we don't know really if you're the one that the music industry in the Philippines is waiting for. Basically, they need someone with strong desires along with talent. So your steping stones are the competitions and organizations you join.. Good luck...

Join the abs-cbn singing contest or go to abs-cbn compound and look for any reporters and talent manager hanging around there and talk to them about your talent.

I think it would be easier if you join Pinoy Pop Superstar in GMA. You start from there, then you get discovered. Also, find a manager. You can join talent searches also like Starstruck.

yea, i say go for the tv shows. gotta be charming and appealing, and know where you stand out in -- and emphasize that. be yourself.
anyways, also, try to get your name known. you can't always be too sure that you`ll get into the show -- i mean SO many filipinos would kill for that -- find local concerts, performances, show cases at schools and etc. get your name known. and expand on that. especially in the manila area, where everything happens. and once your name is known in the areas, agents will be interested in what you`ve got. carry around a demo, as the people above said. work it out, and you`ll def. get there :]

Join the training groups within the network of your choice for them to see your talents. Anyway, there are only two major ones to choose from, so I guess it would be easy.

you need a manager to represent you. always have a copy of your cd for demo (these are your recorded songs ). as binibini had suggested, join talent search in the phils but that will take a lot of your time. if you want you can send your demo tape to recording companies in the phils. don't forget to keep us posted of your progress and continue to follow your dreams. good luck! one more thing, get very good snapshots of yourself and make a portfolio with your demo tape inside it.
