i have a philippine passport. i want to visit taiwan. do i need a visa? how much would it cost for me to visit taiwan for 7 days.including visa, plane fare and accomodation. thanks.

visa costs PHP 2,900 takes 4-5 bus.days. - their emabssy is in RCBC tower 2, in makati. applications only taken in the morning.
Airfare costs around USD 335 - depending which airline you're taking and when you're going.
As for accommodation, I stayed in a USD 250/night hotel. If you stay in budget hotels, then it's bound to be cheaper.
