My sister (14yo) is traveling alone from Minnesota to Miami, and then to another country. Even though she's not considered a child, she doesnt speak english and she's pretty small to transfer from flights all alone.
Anyone knows?? I couldnt find anything on the MIA airport website, and the company she's flying is Northwest (but we can change)...
thank you!

I hate flying enough as it is, but the popping sensation in my ears drives me nuts. Do you guys have any tips to keep my ears from popping, or at least lessen it? (Chewing gum, those sorts of things)

Thanks in advance!

I have never flied alone, the last time I flew I was very young and it was with my parents. I don’t fear flying or heights it’s just that on the international trip I’m making, alone, I have to switch planes at one point. My fear is if I get lost during the switching of planes, can’t there be confusion, a mix-up during the switch at the airport. How do I know where to go and wait for the second plane, do they direct you? What if I go into the wrong plane, what if the plane I’m supposed to be on leaves me? How is it exactly, what are the chances of these things happening?

I am flying from the USA to the Ukraine. I have a stop-over in Russia.

Ukraine doesn't require a visa. But do I have to have a visa to enter Russia even though it is a connecting flight?

I know that everyone SHOULD carry their prescriptions in the original bottle, but do you HAVE to when you have them as carry-on pieces on an airplane. I would rather have them in a day-by-day pill box. Is this OK or not??

With airline service as bad as it is, I'm not too sure I'd want to travel in what now amounts to a small city. What are your thoughts?

I don't so much need lots of legroom as I'm a petite female, just wondering if the seats up front by the window are best for a nice view?

Ok. The airports still have a 3 and 3 rule that makes it easier to bring no liquids. I understand security measures, and abide by them. A safer flight for me is a safer flight for everyone. But doesn't this sound crazy. What's the next step? And when we hear someone has taken down a flight by injecting a virus into the power system are we supposed to sit there and say. "Wow I didn't see that coming."
I don't know if that's possible or not but it won't make me feel any safer on a flight seeing some play with the plane's power source.

Why does Alaska Airlines give out those prayer cards to people that have a meal on their airplane. P.s. I am not a religious person but I am wondering because I had a friend next to me, that was in shock that a comercial airline would give that to him. Thanx.
