What row is the best for a good view on a Boeing 737?

I don't so much need lots of legroom as I'm a petite female, just wondering if the seats up front by the window are best for a nice view?

Thanks!

Between the emergency exit row, and the front bulk head row. Front half.

Boeing 737 Best Seats

I personally love the seats right behind the wing. About two to three rows behind the exit row. You get a great view, and if you're an aviation guru, you will like to see the wing tip vorticies come off of the wings on a humid day while landing. Also you may enjoy watching the flight controls move on the wing.

My second favorite spot is the bulkhead in row 1 if you can get it (Southwest). Just for the fact that you can be the first person off of the plane!

I always request window seats.

Why?

1. More room. That hump that sticks out is dead useful for shoving a pillow in. Plus, you can see out the window. Also, there seems to be a sort of breeze there.

2. When you gotta go to the bathroom or whatnot, you don't have to get out of the way by moving your headset, computer, or whatnot. All you say is "excuse me, but may I pass through?" and let the other people do the work. sounds terrible, but hey, i hate getting interrupted when I'm watching a movie on my laptop or something as well as shoving my legs in as far as possible.

3. If the plane happens to crash or something, at least you can see the ground before the plane gets pwned. I'd rather see a blur of tree's and ground instead of some idiot 2 rows ahead snoring and slobbering away in his sleep.

There is no standard. Boeing doesn't decide what the seat pitch is, the airline does. Coach varies from as little as 30 inches to about 38.

You can try www.seatguru.com for their suggestions from past fliers. They have a floor map for any airline/plane and it color codes seats by how good they are and what kind of ammenities the plane has. I found it to be dead useful in preparing for my upcoming overseas semester.
