i'm flying with Continental Airlines to Newark from Shannon and i was wondering what the airline to fly with were like?do they have any on flight movies or entertainment and much legspace (the flight is 7hrs long)?

You can't ask for a better airline for flying international!
In general, continental airline provide very good entertainment, most of the international aircrafts have a small screen on every back seat, and you can choose a movie or play a game. Leg room is very reasonable.

On the Airline website they have a general listing of in flight ammenities. On a flight that long you should receive drink and food service but I would bring some snacks. If you are in coach don't expect much leg space. Try to stand up and stretch your legs out and get the blood moving in them every two hours even if it is for a walk to the bathroom and back.

I have flown it many times, and it is definitely the best airline in the United States. The seat room on Continental is better than the seat room on Delta.
