I'm planning to go to Mexico late Dec. on the 18-20th on a plane and I heard we now need a passport (after June 2007) to go to Mexico.

But how long does it take to get a passport after applying.
How about you guys, who have applied or just got one, what do you know?

Basically, just tell me what you know about it. . . . . . .(for those who just recently got a passport).

I can't wait to be even more confused because I never been on a plane, and it will be my first time.

Thanks!

Me and a friend were on a flight from New York to London and as we approached London an announcer said...

"Please be ware that you are NOT allowed to bring any fruit or veg into the UK"

Why is this not allowed?

Our supermarkets import fruit and veg in from all over the world but yet normal civilians can't.

Any explanations?

Flying to Singapore, Thailand and Borneo for 14 days mid August. Help with discounted fares or sponsorship would be helpful as we are playing to tsunami victims in Thailand and disadvantaged children in Borneo.

I'm flying with American Airlines to NYC and from there I'm taking Iberia airlines. Does the flight companies take care of my luggage or do i have to go and get my luggage in NYC and then go to the Iberia counter and check in my luggage again? Please advice, thank you so much!

I am interested in purchasing an airplane or helicopter. My limit is 300 thousand dollars. What are some websites that I can view classifieds for airplanes? The airplane needs to have a minimum of 6 seats and some storage space for luggage. My family and I usually fly to Atlanta on the weekends or Florida. My old plane finally broke down so that is why I ask this question. Any websites will be fine. thanks!

200 dead in airplane crash in brazil. This also happened less than a year ago. The airfield was even criticised for being too short. Why was this allowed to happen? It would not happen in UK.

I've heard that you lose a lot of moisture/become dehydrated on airplanes, and that applying some lotion (vasoline??) in your nostrils improves your overall health and flying experience. Perhaps this also lowers the chance of catching something on the plane. Any thoughts??

The electronics are so miniscule they can not possibly interfere with the Aircraft avionics. The player does not receive an outside signal (i.e. no FM, etc). I doubt the battery will 'explode' due to pressure differences. So, the airline policy makes no sense, especially when there is a screaming child in the next seat. Thanks in advance.
