I know the tylenol is not liquid.. it is the full powder tablet.. vaseline is like the jelly .. I was already advised that my lipstick like concealer by MAC is allowed. I just have a doubt about tablets and Vaseline. Does anyone know whether airlines provide passengers with toothpaste?

In answer to your question the Tylenol is not a problem for your checked luggage, or your carry on. As long the Vaseline is a 3 oz or smaller container you are fine for you carry on, the container can be any size for checked luggage. I do not know of any airline that provides toothpaste for it's customers, but you may carry a small tube (again-3 oz. or less) in your carry on.For most travelers there are few restrictions on what can go into their checked luggage. No combustibles, flammables, chemicals.

Most of the restrictions are for carry on luggage and even then there weren't any that I found to be a hardship even traveling with my 16 month old grandson.

If you check our the Transportation Security Authority web site (see the link below) you will find a great deal of other useful information.

The vaseline must be in a 3 ounce or smaller container in a quart size ziplock bag (100 ml in a 1 liter bag for metric destinations). Tylenol in tablet form is just fine.

The airlines do not normally provide toothpaste, there are some exceptions if you are flying transcontinentally. Some airlines do, some do not. Some do in first and/or business class but not in coach. I would call the airline to be sure.

One other issue - the rules above apply to carryon luggage. You can put larger liquids and all the tylenol you like in your checked luggage - these limits do not apply there.

Tylenol is allowed. It is a solid, not a liquid or gel.

Vaseline is a gel, and therefore will not be allowed.

Airlines do not provide passengers with toothpaste. But you can buy small containers of toothpaste at WalMart or Target in the "Trial and Travel" section of "Personal Care Products"

Also, remember, these restrictions are ONLY for carry-on baggage. You can pack all of the stuff you mentioned in your checked baggage.

When I fly, I carry a small bottle of Tylenol in my purse & since it goes through the x-ray machine without any problems, you can do the same. Ditto for Vaseline. You'll have to furnish your own toothpaste if you want to brush before you land, buy a little sample of toothpaste to carry in your purse. They have the real little tubes in the sample bins at CVS & Wal*Mart.
