I'm going on holiday in two weeks. A friend said they used to turn up at the airport, and take a cheap flight to a country they liked the sound of. There are loads of countries I'd be happy to visit. Would you recommend this as a way of getting a cheap flight?

I've been watching expedia, etc and one day it's $450, 30 minutes later, it's $650, then down to $325. I need tickets for October. I know the sooner I get them the cheaper they'll be but I can't buy till next week. Will the good prices be gone by then?

Hi, I hope you can help me. I live in the U.K but work abroad as a teacher. At the end of August I'm off to Tajikistan for one year. The school is booking my flight, but unusually they want to book my return at the same time. But, I wanted to fly on to Australia after I finish next may as I'm half way there anyway. The questions are;
- Can I fly to India from Dushanbe (or directly to Australia)?
- Can I fly to Australia from India on a one way ticket and buy a return in Oz? (This sounds unlikely to me)

it's my first time on a plane and i'm a little nervous about airport security. i know they have a rule about having only 3 oz. of liquid in your carry on. i was just wondering if it would be okay to have my liquid foundation in my purse even if my purse isn't going in my carry on bag. it has metal on it so i figured it would set off alarms.

im going over there to visit my family. im just wondering what i should take [im going to stay over there for a MONTH!] what should i take? are there new rules on what you can take on the plane? its not my first time on a plane its just that i have only a week to get ready!

In a few days I have to make an international flight and I'm very new to air travel. For the first time ever in my life I've bought an airline ticket, I booked a flight very early and got the ticket like two months before the flight date.

Now here's the problem, the people at the destination where I’m going to asked me to check the flight number and time of my arrival there. I checked the ticket; it has the time of departure and flight number of the first plane. I have to make a stop and change planes at Dubai; it has the arrival time for Dubai. BUT for the second flight number and arrival time to my final destination its written VOID.

Why is this, is it because I pre-ordered the ticket too early, or is the ticket invalid? Will it bring me problems at the airport?

As for the missing flight number and arrival time, I was able to get that on the airline's website just yesterday. What was more confusing is that on their website the number for the departure plane is different from that on the ticket but the departure time is the same, this is very confusing, I hope my question makes sense. If you have an idea if all this is normal please let me know.

ive been on a bunch of airplane trips but i am always scared. i have no idea why i am though!! that take offs and landings are horrible, but the turbulence is the worst!!!! if there is one bump i sqeeze my moms hand. im so used to having something beneath me to catch me when i fall... but when ur on an airplane i dont feel safe because there isnt a ground to catch me. i have no idea what to do and im flying to austraila in a few months!!! (18 hour flight) i have nooooo idea what to do and my parents are making me go. please help me get over my fear of flying!!

Hello, just purchased an airline ticket to Europe through airlines and got my tickets already, and totally forgot about lugguage policy, can anyone tell how much lugguage I can carry???
I heard most of international airlines allow 2 lugguage of 32kg each and up to 9kg carry-on, is that true?
Can anyone give me detailed info about that?
