Call the airlines you booked your flight with and see if they will.

Sometimes you can but it is all about the airlines policy.

It is possible but it will probably not happen. The day time flights are usually booked up. Check with your airline and they will help if there is availability. You might get charged a change fee which will probably be in the $50 to $100 range. But... you could get lucky and get the flight you want. good luck

The airline will likely charge you a change fee plus the difference in the airfare between your booked flight and the flight you wish to switch to.

Several US airlines allow you to be confirmed on an earlier same day flight for around $25 and no fare adjustment. You just have to get on the phone and call.

Go to the airport, and ask. Some airlines will do it if they have seats available at no charge.

Just being nice at the counter will help, and don't be angry if they cannot help you.
