Yes, the same as any other citizen. However, the Visa is acquired by their company/airline and the employee need not take any steps to get it. You only turn your passport into the company office, then wait to get it back days later. An airline uses an expedited process for employee issued Visas and sometimes these Visas have restrictions on them.

Crew members do get the convenience of crew lines at customs, but our passports and Visas are scanned and checked by the computer system each time, the same as any other traveler.

It all depends on the country being visited and the agreements between the various governments. Most airline employees that travel internationally on a regular basis have special visas that entitle them multiple entries into certain countries that require it (China comes to mind.) There is usually a special lane at Customs for flight crews as well.

Often no, as they never get to leave airside, so they don't actually set foot on foreign soil!
