i won a trip to montana with my fiance and the roundtrip tickets are for this friday, returning back to minnesota on monday, however my fiance's really sick and we will be unable to make it. is there any way i can exchange my tickets for a later date so that we could at least go to montana on our own terms? please help. i don't know what the logistics are regarding canceling flights or changing them. thanks!

You can probably change them, but you'll probably have to pay in the neighborhood of $100 per ticket (or more, depending on when you change them to). Contact the airline and talk to a rep and see what they say.

Contact the airline ASAP today! The longer you wait, the less likely they are to do it. Also since this was for a "prize" you may be unable to change the date and may lose the trip altogether.

You can change the date, but you will have to pay a fee and whatever the difference in the ticket prices are.
If you cancel you get no refund.

For an admin fee you should be able to change them. Contact the airline involved.
