Ok. The airports still have a 3 and 3 rule that makes it easier to bring no liquids. I understand security measures, and abide by them. A safer flight for me is a safer flight for everyone. But doesn't this sound crazy. What's the next step? And when we hear someone has taken down a flight by injecting a virus into the power system are we supposed to sit there and say. "Wow I didn't see that coming."
I don't know if that's possible or not but it won't make me feel any safer on a flight seeing some play with the plane's power source.

The power source for the entertainment systems and PA not to mention power jacks for computers are all on an independent systems. There is no chance of this happening and they have designed the system specifically to combat this type of cyber T. Don't over think this mate. It can't happen.
