It is a very shameful act of the Israeli government and some group of Jews living in the USA to deny the Armenian Genocide, by saying that never happened, when 1,500,000 millions been massacred and killed the rest exiled from their home land, by the hand of Turks, it is a very sad to hear from Jewish people victims of there own to a similar tragedies by the Nazi's, all of Europe's have documentations and evidence of the occurrence of the genocide of 1915 that was the first genocide of 20Th century, in Europe it is a crime to deny the Armenian Genocide, punishable with a jail sentence, still Israel denies, plus to that, is helping Turkey to cover up, how can you justify this type of act from a similar victim's, similar tragedy.

Why are there Arabs in here?
I mean, not in a bad way. Come if you have something valid or important to talk about, but if you are only here to incite argument and insults, why are you here? We don't sully your Egypt, Saudi Arabia, or Lebanon with claims of terrorism, and etc.
All these people do is come here and b*tch about Zionism and how Jews murdered Germans during the Holocaust then changed the story and blamed the Palestinians, killed the tooth fairy and the Easter Bunny, then drank Jesus' blood, and took "the Palestinians land" and all that BS.

We never intended this part of YA to be this way. Realy, if you don't have anything productive to say, just leave. This never was meant for politics you know.

If you tell them that you disagree with them, they think you hate them. I often think that I am hated but not because people dont agree with me but because some people say bad things to me or ignore me. However, some people on this section want us always to agree with them and tell them that they are always right.. I dont like to lie..
Even when you try to explain to them why you disagree with them, they don't want to listen to you..

I hope the person whom I mean for this sees my question and understands my message.. I don't have anything against you and I would love to continue having peaceful dialogue with you. I am sorry for using the word close minded but I couln't find a better English work. My English vocabulary are limited.
Peace

Because of all the good answers (I do not have to agree and the answer still can be a good one!) and because still answers are popping in, please have the community to pick the "best answer" in my name, okay?

I'll be back for Eid Al-Fitr and wish you all a nice week.

Not to long ago I asked the question if religion shoud stay out of politics and the most of you agreed with me.
Would step two not mean: There are no Muslim terrorists? There are terrorists of different nationalities. Name them by their nationality but do not badmouth a religion. Also when this religion is misused by them.
It's the same for Jews. Not all Jews agree with the way of Israel handles things.
Would you agree with mention nationalities instead what religion people belong to?

Please note there are also other terrorists like in Spain,Ireland etc. They never got called catholic terrorists.

Please do not get me wrong. I do NOT stand up for any terrorist acts, but I am bothered that Muslim terrorists are generalized and Islam in general is badmouthed.

Take care

What do Jews worldwide and in Israel think about Germany and german citizen? I know that the Holocaust took place. No need to discuss that. I would like to know if Germans are welcome to visit Israel (not just on paper). How do you feel about the new german generation (born after holocaust)?

Two older couples are having dinner together. As the wives clear the table, the men continue talking.
'Hal,' says one, 'last night we went out to a terrific new restaurant, and you've got to try it.'
"Sure,' says his friend. 'What's it called?'
'Um - wait a minute - what's that red flower you give to someone you love?'
'A carnation?'
'No, no, the other one...'
'A poppy?'
'No, no. You know, it's red and has thorns?'
'You mean a ROSE?'
'Yes, that's it!' Then, turning towards the kitchen he yells, 'Rose! What's the name of that restaurant we went to last night?'

Four friends were sitting in a Moscow restaurant. For a long time nobody said a word.
Finally one man groans. 'Oy.'
'Oy vey,' says a second man.
'Nu,' says the third.
The fourth man gets up from his chair and says, 'Listen, if you guys don't stop talking politics, I'm leaving!'

I am impressed with your opinions on the Messianic Judaism questions and I wanted to encourage both of you not to get discouraged by the aggressive users in this section. You are both good contributors to Yahoo answers in this section. People like both of you are a good example of how we Jews really respect other the religion of others.

Question: How are we as Jews affected by the Messianic movement???

What have they done for many of our people to be so hateful in showing spite towards them???

'Hopeless' has accused me of being racist because I posted a question saying that I resented messianic jews telling me that I would one day 'be open to Jesus'.

I pointed out in my post that no Jewish person believes that Jesus was the messiah. I then removed the question because I realised that it may just provoke an argument and I didn't want to do that.

Now 'Hopeless' tells me I am 'racist'.

Your thoughts? What do you feel about messianic judaism?

Why are non Jews allowed to tell Jews how to define their religion?

Mizrachim have traditionally been quite hostile to Arabs.

Strange , really, when you consider that the Arabs hosted them for centuries and have probable blood ties, as well as lingusitc ones ( Arabic language).

Moreover, like Israeli Arabs, Mizrachim have been discriminated against by a seemigly racist Ashkenazi elite that despises them and treats them as serfs to do all the work they don't want to do.

So, rather than vote for neo-fascist parties like Likud and Shas, why don't Mizrachim and Arabs unite to rule Israel. They both make up 56% of the Israeli electorate. That way they can put an end to 60 years of Ashkenazi rule.

What do yuo think?

I just posted a question about western values. You will not find any offence, disrespect etc, not even any religious in it. Why do I receive to hatefull nasty answers? I am called "Mohamedan" which is offending already. What did I do to you guys just by questioning western values? Your answers make me even wondering more about your values. You take one honor killing (which is terrible) and do not say one word about the crime rate in your countries.

Why are so hatefull? Are you not the ones who always preach how bad and hatefull Muslims are? What about you? Maybe you should take a look into the mirror talking about hate.

Well, this question does not go out to everybody here, just look at my previous questions and you know whom I talking about. I know better than that. Sorry for sounding a bid harsh, but I am honestly upset.

Judaism also used to practise execution by stoning, and rules for when and how it should be applied are defined in the Torah, which religious Jews believe to be the words of God. But over the years rabbis decided that it should not be applied any more, even though it is prescribed in our holiest texts.

What has to happen for Islam to decide to reject such ancient barbaric practices, in favour of ones more suited to our times?

And on a similar note, under what circumstances could devout Muslims accept to relinquish land that is holy 'waqf'? Judaism views Mount Sinai as exceptionally holy (it's where God gave Moses the Torah), but we still handed over the whole of Sinai in the interests of peace. What could be done to allow fervently religious Muslims such as Hamas to do something similar, without feeling that they are abandoning their religion?

(Note: I'll be out all today, so I can only respond to answers later. But I feel that this question goes to the root of the issue.)

West Germany and East Germany had a wall for many years which made living conditions more peaceful until the time came that peace was possible. Do you think that if the UN borders were agreed upon, and if the settlers were willing to leave the West Bank and a big wall was built until the time that real peace could be achieved, would any agree with this?
And also if we could only have a civilized conversation without hateful or hurtful comments plz. Thanx in advance.

Right now we Gaza is pretty distuted with all the things going on inside of it like Extremely hateful propaganda, firing rockets into Israel, Israel cut of aide to Gaza except for hospitals.

But right now whats happening in The West Bank? I know its under FATAH control at the moment. But what else?

Are discussion's still being held about land and what not just now excluding Gaza and Hamas from the equation?

What about the settler issue, Freedom of movement is difficult in The West Bank (especially for the palestinians) for a number of reasons i mentioned before but like Londoner in Israel said the issue should be handled with sensitivity and the fact that the settlers where dupped (more info on this?) into coming to live in the settlements in the 70's and 80's means that the settlers should be given special consideration aswell, what is there fate looking like at the moment?

Do Mizrahi Jews from the Arab countries think in Arabic rather than Hebrew? I have been told they have their own dialect of Hebrew which has been influenced by Arabic.

Since modern hebrew has very little in common with most other semitic langauges ( due to the influence of Yiddish), I would have thought that Arab Jews would prefer to speak their own language, i.e Arabic.

I as a Muslim am quite ashamed to see some people and leaders question the holocaust. It was sad and tragic event where least we could have done at that time was to help the suffering Jews by offering and sharing lands. Instead it led to shame of War and Mistrust. I have to admit that at times the Israeli policies seem a bit heavy handed but then i am not a big fan of the surrounding so called Muslim world that condones War and hate and ends up supporting Mindless Ego. I think humans that are trying with their heart and soul for peace to prevail in that region and are hearteous in forgivenss are the ones that make God Proud. Prophet Moses and Muhammed (May God's peace and Blessings be on them) brought the same message of Peace which is corrupted by our ego and selfishness. We definately need people the Prime Minister Rabin(May his soul rest in Peace) and Amr Khalid!
