You are right - the leaders among the Palestinians have no honor and their word is meaningless. But Israel must do what it takes to bring about peace even if the leadership of the Palestinians is full of theives, thugs, a baby killer (they are willing to kill their own children for greed and over hatred).

The way to accomplish peace is to recognize the right of the native Palestinian people to exist. Like many other nations who were colonized by immigrants to day they coexist in one state or 2 states. Its up to the smart Israeli people. Israel can not live forever as a war zone state for some Zionist Jew dreamer living in the USA its life and death what we are talking about its not a dream. Peace is the missing link in the Zionist state.
The Israelis are asked to day weather to live in one state with native people or to have a viable Palestinian state living next to Israel as free nation.

The best way to know what is really going on in Israel and the middle east is to travel there.
When I went I was astounded at the mis-information from the media regarding Israel and the Palestinians for that matter.

No peace will not be accomplished by giving land to the Arabs. If they wanted peace we would have had it when Israelis evacuated the Gaza strip and on other occassions Israel has cooperated with Arab demands and they never honor their word.

Actions speak louder than words. Someday the "palestineans" will have real leaders that want the best for their people. To parphrase Golda Meir "when the arabs love their children more than they hate Jews there will be peace" I hope I live to see that day.

If people of the jewish faith had come to palestine and said " we need refuge from persecution and wish to live in peace" then there wouldn't be a problem. Instead those people came in and started attacking arab and british troops and took over a country that was not their own.
Seems to me like israeli's never wanted peace at all.
