We used some time and built a wonderful sukkah. It feels like a room apart of the house. We sleep and eat all our meals in it everynight except Shabbos. So tonight we are having shabbos in the house plus we have more people over so they wont fit in the sukkah anyways.

we did.. we also just bought a house recently. Unfortunately, it rained the first 2 nights, but the weather was great today, so we were going to have shabbat dinner in it. When i got home from work today, I found our beautiful sukkah knocked down and just in ruins. There is no way possible that it was weather related today, especially since the supports were held up in 12 cinderblocks weighing 240 pounds total. And it's very suspicious that the sukkah is down, but the plastic table and chairs were all standing. It made me cry. I don't even know who could have done this. But we're rebuilding it tomorrow morning. They won't keep us down! Chag sameach! and Shabbat shalom

oh my we just moved into our new house and literally built our sukkuah the night before the holiday. My hubby works in plumbing so we got the pipes from him and the sides were made of tarp we can actually fit 6 people comfortably in our sukkah on the porch. Its great> Happy holidays!
