I want to take my mom on a surprise trip early January as her late Christmas gift. I took her to Hawai'i last year and we stayed at the Turtle Bay which was great (http://www.turtlebayresort.com/). I'm looking for a similar peaceful, clean beach resort environment in another country. I want it to be somewhat outside of the city and the beach somewhat secluded, not in the middle of all the tourist business. I just want to have a peace of mind and not stress about unpleasant surprises.

My budget is around $250 a night.

Europe and Middle East are not options.

Broken Angel.
The movie that many Turkish-Americans have been waiting for over a year now is in its last stages of editing before it hits the theaters in late December or early January.
Adapted by Leslie Bates-Buyukturkoglu from the novel by Tulay Pirlant and directed by Aclan Bates-Buyukturkoglu, Executive Produced by Kevin Corchiani and produced by Leslie Bates-Buyukturkoglu, Chris Moore and John Safyurtlu. The quality of the acting and directing in Broken Angel has exceeded expectations so much so that it is currently being submitted to Sundance for its US premiere.
Starring Nehir Erdogan, Aysenil Arda, Nilufer Acikalin and Hollywood heartthrob Patrick Muldoon, Broken Angel benefits from American cinematography techniques and carries the European artistic sensibility, all the while passionately moving and bonding with its audience in a typical Turkish style.

Hi There.
I've booked flights to Salzburg and will be arriving there wednesday evening and leaving saturday evening. I haven't booked any accommodation yet as I'm not sure where I should go. I'm interested in going to Hallstat (as it looks really nice in pictures) and also Zel Am See and of course sightsee in Salzburg. But I'm open to anywhere you guys think would be good to see. I'm traveling alone and am in my early 20's. Is there much to do in these places? Is it worth spending a night in each place and touring round these places? Or would it be better to stay in Salzburg and just do day trips to these places?
I've been to Vienna and Innsbruck before and really enjoyed the landscape and wilderness feeling (which you don't get in London). Any help you can give me would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance! :)

It's about HIV and AIDS in South Africa. As you know, the statistics by World Health Organisation show that South Africa has got the highest HIV-related death rate in the world. Some of the factors that influence death rate from HIV infection is life style, public access to medical resources, leteracy, and commitment of government in combating the disease based on state economy. There are about 53 countries in Africa. Having the factors I've mentioned above in mind, what is it exactly that makes South Africans die so much of AIDS-related deseases? What is it that makes the death toll in South Africa much higher than in any other African country? Is it because other African countries afford medical accessibility more than we do in South Africa? Is it because their lifestyle is much more health-friendly than ours in South Africa? I'm confused, please help.

I'm in Toronto, Canada and I want to get to Europe (doesn't matter which country) for the cheapest price possible any time between May and mid-July. After a lot of online research, I found that the cheapest flights seem to be Toronto to London, and in May, with FlyZoom. But it's difficult to search every single flight using online flight searches. Does anyone have any advice on what to do regarding this??

Would it be better to do something like get last-minute tickets, or to hang around the airport and ask if anyone didn't show up or cancel their flight? Has anyone tried this? Is there any special way to do it? I'm willing to do whatever it takes to get ridiciously cheap tickets... especially since flight taxes here are so expensive.

Thank you!

A group of my friends and I were planning a trip to Europe and we thought a cruise was a great idea. So far I think that the Royal Caribbean cruise line is the best but I want to know what you guys think. We're a group of high school seniors who just want to see Europe and have some fun before college :)

p.s. money IS an issue x[
