I took a group of high school students down to the sa express light to research the old articles.. It turns out the area is just creepy. The Mexican Mafia used to dump bodies in the area after killing them in the head. Never any kids...no bus in the area until 1960's and the claim is that they were hitin the 30's. McCreless, a builder in SA, named a surrounding neighborhood streets after his grandkids, many people think the streets were named after the dead kids...nope. There is a cool fair running right now nearby and they have a hayride over the tracks nightly. Go have fun. It's off of S. Presa and Loop 410 on the Southside.

The story about the bus load of kids is a tear jerkier and the story about how they have had cars stall on the tracks that have had baby powder on the truck lid and all at once something propelled the car across the tracks and everyone was safe. You could go to the back of the car and could see finger prints of the children that supposedly pushed the car across, these are just that great stories and as Doc has told you they all have been debunked,.... but they sure are some great tails to tell my grandchildren

I used to go every Halloween when I was a kid. Lots of fun. I really dont believe it is haunted. There are lots of other "confirmed" haunted places in San Antonio.
There has never been any found report of a bus being hit by a train there. Its still fun to go though....at least it was when I was young;)

Eugene is actual. The haunted tracks have been investigated countless cases and its been shown that they are not haunted in any respect. The streets are no longer named after the little ones who died interior the nonexistent accident, yet are the names of a woman's grandchildren. I even have heard firsthand bills of the chinese language graveyard being haunted, however, alongside with Drafthouse Westlakes.

It is an interesting site and phenomena, but has been proven to be an optical illusion and not a true haunted site.
