OK, last night, it was put to me that a coupke of my friends are going to Croatia next year very briefly. They didnt tell me when or even where in Caroatia or for even how long but they said would I be interested. I said yes, but then she had to go. So I have a few questions.

1. From Brisbane, Australia. where do you have to fly through to get to Croatia.
2. Are Croatian people, friendly, welcoming, arrogant?
3. What is the typical food in Croatia. Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner at home and in a restaurant and on the streets.
4. Anything else IMPORTANT to know about Croatia? Oh, and what is their language?

Thanks

Is there any particular part of Vegas or its surronding communities that houses more then its fair share of military folks? Any places that give discounts or are particularly accomodating to military renters?

My friends & I (group of 8) plan to go to Tagaytay this weekend. This would be the first time for each of us to plan a trip on our own. We are all work-aholics so we never find the time. Hey, better late than never right? & we think that tagaytay is perfect for us due to its location.

So here's the deal, we don't know much about Tagaytay, we don't intend to stay overnight, (maybe next tym) & we plan to go by public transport.

so far:

*we plan to ride a bus @ Baclaran @ around 8am
*the only places in our itinerary right now is to visit the pink sisters & caleruega church.
*we've heard of sailing the lake, park in the sky, & other destinations (tips pls)
*we still have no idea where to eat lunch

Pls. give us tips on where to go & things to do. Thanks

People say things like 'i'd like to go to China, India and Africa'? There are over 50 nations in Africa. My mom once told someone she's African and the lady wanted to know if my Mom knew some woman who lived in South Africa. We live in Nigeria!!!

I ve heard different stories like, its beautiful with 400 thousand dollar homes. Then I hear its ghetto an full of drugs, an crack heads. I want to move to LA, but I need to know where is a good place to move close to nice University? I heard El Debarge lived in Palmdale, so I figured ok he's famous so it should be bad. An then I hear well, he's on drugs an is broke, so I figured ok, maybe this isnt a good place to live. I mean i dont want to come to Cali, hit Palmdale an pass out bc its so lame, an ghetto. I dont want to get robbed bc I have nice things. Someone who lived, lives there or had been there speak the truth an I will pick the best answer.

How can answer an American " Does the vote by certain members of our Congress does not reflect the positive feelings we in America have about Turkey and its peoples? "

Members of the US House of Representatives passed a measure condemning Turkey for genocide against the Armenians during World War I. As an American, I beg you not to be offended. The condemnation has little to do with Turkey or its peoples.

The US is approaching its presidential elections. The opposing party, the Democrat Party, is attempting to disrupt our country’s friendship with Turkey in order to embarrass President Bush. By undertaking this measure, the Democrats hope to strain our relationship in order to encourage the Turkish government to halt its assistance to the war on terror and to the US in particular.

Don’t be fooled or offended. THE VOTE BY CERTAIN MEMBERS OF OUR CONGRESS DOES NOT REFLECT THE POSITIVE FEELINGS WE IN AMERICA HAVE ABOUT TURKEY AND ITS PEOPLES.

For those of you that don't own a vehicle, how do you commute from TSU to Austin or from UTA to San Marcos?

For example, I want to live in Austin while attending TSU but I don't know how to work around transportation issues. I know that a rail system will be opening up soon but it will be a while. Help?

California wine country. Don't care about the wine, just the scenery, ESPECIALLY valleys, lushness of foliage, and fall colors is a bonus.

If I go to Santa Barbara wine country, is it the same scenery as Napa/Sonoma or not as nice?

What has more beautiful scenery, Napa or Sonoma?

Thanks!

I am going to Vegas for the first time. How do I get from the Excalibur hotel to the McCarran Int'l Airport? Is it better to take a taxi or a shuttle? How much will a taxi ride to the airport cost me? Is it cheaper to take a shuttle instead? And where do I go to get a taxi or shuttle ride? Thanks.
