Yes they are the same...only the entrance are different....There are few railway stations....all are within 15-20km range. You can take a pre-paid cab from the airport to the railway station, they will charge you approx. Rs. 150/

Both the airports are in the same stretch of the building but the terminals are different, and there is no public access to go from one to the other.
there are 2 Major railway stations Howrah and Sealdha. Howrah being the more important among the 2. both railway stations are approximately 1 to 1.30 hour from the airport on a good day without any Major road works or traffic jams.

Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose International Airport is an airport located in Dum Dum, near Kolkata (Calcutta). .
