Would like somewhere with open spaces so can play soccor or cricket etc. Would like some facilities for shelter/ shade and nearby toilets. Age range of people is babies to grandparents. people will be coming from all around Sydney including Central Coast, Penrith and Sutherland Shire.

Rouse Hill Regional Park,Rouse Hill)-has bike track, horse riding track,picnic facilities ( sheltered seats and tables) and ,playground (awesome playground with flying fox and maze)only drawback is the toilets they are those smelly environmentally safe ones.
Fairfield Regional park: picnic facilities,playgrounds,large slides bike tracks,tons of open space.
Regatta Centre ( Penrith ) views of the lake and Blue Mountains)walking track around the lake,bike track around the lake, toilets,sheltered tables.
Hawkesbury River at Windsor,drive over the bridge and left at Francesco's restaurant ( good seafood)
tons of parking,a small park,little beaches; take the kayak and a bucket and spade
The Entrance, picnic on the grassy oval or on seats,there are cafes, a fountain playground for kids to play in and a big playground.On Saturdays there are markets and rides/face painting for the kids.Pelican feeding at 3 pm.
There are tons of places!hope you enjoy your day out,let me know where you end up going

Centennial Park, Bicentennial Park, the Royal National Park, Lane Cove River National Park. Lane Cove river lets you hire entire sites on the river with barbecues, toilets, shade and wide open spaces.
