Is there any particular part of Vegas or its surronding communities that houses more then its fair share of military folks? Any places that give discounts or are particularly accomodating to military renters?

I thought North L.V. was the "questionable" part of town to live in? Or is that just near the city center?

A couple of my friends who are stationed at Nellis rent new homes on the far northside of North LV. There are many new home, condo and apartment communities in the area bordered by; I-15 to the east, US 95 to the west, Craig Rd to south, Loop 215 to north. This area is apprx 5-10 miles to the west of Nellis. Most of the apartment communities in NLV offer military discounts. Between being military and a soft housing market, you should be able to find a good living arrangement.

North Las Vegas probably. That's where Nellis is. North Las Vegas is a separate city from Las Vegas.

The northeast part of Vegas has a lot of military folks, but I don't know of any places that give discounts.

You live in a part of town that I stay away from. Does the LB stand for Long Beach? Born and raised there. Let me know.
