Time-Honored Truths and Universal Laws

A bus station is where a bus stops. A train station is where a train stops. On my desk I have a work station...

A clear conscience is usually the sign of a bad memory

A conclusion is the place where you got tired of thinking

A person who is nice to you, but rude to the waiter, is not a nice person.

Age is a very high price to pay for maturity.

Always remember you are unique, just like everyone else.

Atheism is a non-prophet organization

Bills travel through the mail at twice the speed of checks

Change is inevitable, except from a vending machine.

Employment application blanks always ask who is to be notified in case of an emergency. I think you should write . . . A Very Good Doctor.

Experience is something you don't get until just after you need it

For every action, there is an equal and opposite criticism

Friends may come and go, but enemies accumulate.

We were on a Cruise to the Caribbean in March 2007. One of our ports was St. Martin and we had signed up for a tour of a so called Plantation. As it turned out, we saw a run down piece of property. The plants were overgrown or half dead. The plantation hose was not open to the public etc. When we got back on board ship I made a complaint to the people at the tour desk. I really didn't get a response at that time. I went back the next day and complained again and recommended that they take that tour of their itinerary. I was supposed to hear from someone after we got home but to this date I have heard nothing. I have been on a number of cruises with RCL and like the ships but, feel that I have been neglected regarding this complaint. Please investigate and contact me ASAP. Bill Burnidge (928) 855-1669

My husband, son and I are taking my mother to Washington DC on the 4th (Arriving around lunchtime)-7th (Leaving around lunch time) of October? She's 68, in pretty good shape but cannot walk for long periods of time. This is what I've tentively planned. One of the days I'm planning to take her on the Trolley Tour. I have done this tour and I think it's great. We're also planning to do the Monuments by Moonlight tour as well. She wants to see Arlington Nat'l Cementary, the Kennedy Grave site and changing of the guard...Does anyone know the name of that tour???. She would probably enjoy the Museum of Natural History to see the Gemstones. Any other suggestions.??

I'm planning to move my family from the UK to Sydney Australia. My wife is South American but is often mistaken for being Indian. Will many of the locals have a problem with her?

If you could pick ten places to go, where would they be. You dont have to have already been there, but if could go, where would you go? AND BE SPECIFIC, NOT JUST COUNTRIES, BUT IF YOU CAN, CERTAIN PLACES. And in this case, just think of money as not being any kind of issue.

We are poor students, with one last vacation left to enjoy. What's a cheap destination in a warm climate(preferably tropical) during the month of December? We will be traveling from Chicago. Hopefully total flight and expenses $600-800.

concerning reverts to Islam, I think that we should all show our support to our new brothers and sisters and welcome them into our hearts, especially as Ramadan is approaching. May God bless you all and help you throughout Ramadan with your fasting ISA. Ramadan kareem.
