I currently work for a hotel as a room attendant/ housekeeper and i am applying for a job with the ncl cruise line hawaii does anyone know how much they pay stateroom stewardess and do they recieve good tips?

My friend worked for the NCL and she tole me that she worked 7 days a week 8hrs a day or more it all depends for around 6dlls an hour
She told me that the only good thing about all the experience is that you dont pay for nothing... so you can actually save you money and plus you get to travel alot and see other countries, but the pay not that good. But then again it will be up to the cruise line to tell you how much they can pay you.

cruiselines pay the barest minimum in wages for room stewards. Often the workers are from poorer countries who are willing to work for $50/week (random example - not based on ANYTHING) and they depend on tips from cruisers.

Which is why cruisers should tip their cabin stewards generously!

If you're referring to the NCL America, I believe they have a different setup.

you work 7 days a week and work very very hard.
ncl would be the only ones who can tell you how much the wages are.
