Three of my friends want to go and have asked me what the journey's like, but I don't know as I've never been.
1) How would you rate Qantas for comfort, service etc?

I’m looking for free parking. (as a student I don’t have much money) I am up for a walk hopefully under a 1/4 mile but whatever. are the meters free on the 4th and how fast does the parking fill up? how much do the cable cars cost to take it to the end of Hyde?... basically I want to see the san Francisco fireworks for as little money as possible. I’m driving up from san Jose so if there are any other tips let me know...

I might be moving to Vancouver, BC metro area in a few years to take up nursing/public health and I was wondering what other languages besides French and English are considered valuable in the workforce there? Cantonese or Mandarin? Hindi? Do hospitals try to recruit workers who are fluent in other languages?

Ok, my family is making me go on a cruise with them. I absolutely DESPISE swimming and sunbathing, so what else is there to do on a cruise? These activities are about the only thing people seem to talk about doing on a cruise. How can I keep myself from being totally bored? I would be perfectly content with reading and drawing in my sketchbook the whole time, but I can do those things at home anytime...

In my hometown people go all along the parade route and lay out tarps, chairs with rope through them and rugs and rags to save seats. So 4 days before the parade, the parade route looks like garbage day! Why can't people just be spontaneous and go to the parade and choose a site a couple hours before? Does this happen in your home town?

I am planning to travel to Thailand either on December or May. I am most interested in the gorgeous beaches,shopping for silks and silver and of course FOOD!
