I recently had spinal fusion surgery, and I have titanium rods and screws as well as a batery pack implanted in my back---never to be removed. When going thru an airport, I will surely set off the metal detector. Will I always have to give explanation of my hardware, or is there some kind of paper the doctor gives you? Whats the deal?

Any recommendations? My anniversary (2nd) is next weekend and we wanted to go away for the weekend. Somewhere not too crowded, but within driving distance of Washington, D.C. Any suggestions? I could use some help with this.

Went on July 4th weekend 1996 ,watched fireworks from beneath Washington Monument. It was so crowded and distracting couldn't enjoy it. did visit theSmithsonian, you really need a whole day to see what it has to offer. Visited museum of Natural History, interesting. My advice though is not to go on a holiday ,too crowded. The best time we had was when we left and spent a cupla days at Virginia City. It was fun and relaxing.

I am traveling to Florida on Friday, arrive at Tampa, drive south all the way to Key West, then back up to Miami and then ft Lauderdale to fly back! I wanna go diving and other basic stuff but the rest is unplanned. Give me some less know attractions, would be great. Things that don't cost a fortune would also be good. Thanks

I'm an atheist and I would like to do a kind of volunteer trip somewhere. Someone that I work with just got back from a mission trip and she got to help at an orphanage and help build a house and stuff like that in Africa. I think that would be so much fun! But I want to help them, not teach them about God lol. So...is there someplace that hosts something like that? Anyone know?

in Egypt if you have the money you can build a mosque without any problems
but if you have the money and want to build a church you will need a license from the Governor of the city himself, and he refuse anyway
and that's what happened lately in upper Egypt when that clashes happened
some Christians decided as long as they can't build a church to do their prayers in a house but that's make the Muslim people of that village angry and they went out to burn the Christians houses and properities
a Muslim told me once in Egypt as an answer about this question that view of the churches and it's crosses offend the feelings of the muslim
