Fireworks in NY city--Im taking the train up from S Jer.-Is there any where in Hoboken where you can see them?

This year, the fireworks will be launched from the traditional location on the East River between 23rd and 42nd Streets and from a location near the South Street Seaport. The celebration will begin at 7:00 pm with the first firework set to explode into color over the East River at approximately 9:20 pm.

You will be able to see from FDR Drive, Roosevelt Island in the East River, South Street Seaport area, any high rise on East Side, Long Island City in Queens (across the East River), Liberty Park, or from the Empire State Building.
