In Brooklyn: Jamaica Bay Riding Academy, Shore Parkway, [718] 531-8949

Kensington Stables, Caton Place, [718]972-4588
(I know they lost one of their stables - building more condos - Make sure they're still doing the trail rides - I know they're still giving lessons.

You can also try Pelham Bit Stables on Shore Road in the Bronx [718] 885-0557

For anyone who's interested, Kensington Stables is now giving carriage rides in Prospect Park.

Between Exit 11 and Exit 13 on the Belt Parkway in Carnarsie, Brooklyn, there's a stable filled with horses. I see folks riding them when I drive pass. It's a part of Jamaica Bay preservation.
