I am looking to move to Memphis from Cleveland Ohio. I would like to know whats it like for the people who live there. I am looking into getting my foot in the door of a good salon (I'm a hairstylist). I want to do editoral work and eventually move in to doing celebrities in the music area. I am 23 years old and a girl. I like the Peabody and Uptown Apartments. Guess I just want to know if its a artsy, music spot....people my age that I can meet easily seeing that I know no onethere. I know when you are cruising it is. Is it when you get off to go into the city, can you go back to the port and eat on the ship and get off? How does that work? I have never been on a cruise, I want to go on Soverign of the Seas with Royal Carribean? What should I expect, how is the trip? What extra expenses should we expect? We are going to Cococay and Nassua- what is there to see?

Firstly, I am desperate, which is why I have come to yahoo! answers of all places.

Secondly, I am young, of average intelligence, and in great need of assistance. I need a wealthy sponsor who is willing to go all out to provide me money for what would appear to be a whimsical fancy.

I need no less than 25,000 dollars, US. I need to pay off a few debts as well as send myself over to France to finally meet with my long time girlfriend. But this cannot be done within the time I have. I have only a couple of months and then I must be off. She will not wait forever, and she has come down with depression, and it is getting worse. I need to be there for her.

I need help. Anyone, anyone has the answer. Wealthy friends of family, I plead you: please assist me in my plight? I will repay you in any way I can. But I am unable to do this on my own.

This is the third time I have asked this question. I am praying for the answer that will relieve me in this one, last and desperate effort.

When I go to NYC I want to go see a play at The York Theatre which is located at:

I want to teach english in Japan and i heard that it's hard for Indians to be 'accepted' in Japan.

Their is apparantly NO indians in Japan what so ever and they have no Sikh Temples and nowhere to buy indian clothes and food etc

And the apparantly hate our culture and hate our people.

I just wanted to know if all of this is true? And if they hate us then why?

I am going to Canada soon and all that I see on the internet says that by AIR I need a passport as of this year, but by land or sea (I will be going on a cruise in the winter so I want to know as well) I won't need one until 2008?

Anyone read any conflicting info on this? I don't want to drive to the border and not have a passport if I have to have it. The trip is farely soon so I won't have time to get one.

I will for the cruise just to be safe but any info would be helpful.

Okay so I was told since it was a busy time for passports that it would take 8 to 10 weeks for beginners. Well it's been 11 weeks now and I still have no passport.
If there was something wrong with the app or photo they would call right?
How long as it ever took anyone to get a passport back?
Is their a website where you can locate the passport or find out when it will get here?

I don't actually need it till September but I'm still curious because I thought I would have mine and my husband's by now.
