I want to travel to India soon, while checking on with the ticket prices I found out that if I book my ticket to Delhi on a international flight and then buy a seperate ticket to Kolkata, my saving on the ticket will be around 200 dollars.
But the question is whether domestic airline company allow 2 -piece baggage if my ticket is a seperate ticket. In this case I will not be holding a through ticket to Kolkata and my baggage will not be checked in to Kolkata

Can you take alcohol on a plane? I am only talking about 2 bottles of bacardi which will be in my suitcases so i can have them on my holiday, not during the flight. Is this allowed?

I'm going for my honeymoon this Summer in California (hollywood / beverly hills area). I am contemplating hiring a car abroad or taxiing everywhere.

I do not know my way around in California, and also car parking in our hotel would cost approx $200 for the duration of our stay. We stand to save several hundred pounds not hiring a car.

Is it possible to go everywhere by taxi and for it to not cost a fortune? And ideally be cheaper than hiring a car?

My wife and I travel to and from the U.S. about 2 times a year. I am really hating long haul flights and since ours takes 22-30 hours each way, I am looking for some suggestions on feeling good, looking good, and keeping myself entertained. Any suggestions?

We are leaving for WDW in less than a month for our first visit. My daughter is 7 and my son is 13. I am looking for some fun and/or interesting ways to help us bridge the gap between now and when we leave. We are already counting down the days with a paper chain. Thanks!

I understand that duing Vietnam War, Malaysia and Singaporearmed force actually stationed troops to Thailand near the boarder as forward observer, and to response as initial contact. Because Thailand has once allowed the Japanese to pass by them to attack Malaysia and Singapore.

But I could not find any concrete information on this topics, as it was highly sensitives, and secretive. i always wonder if it is true.

However, I happened to meet 3 Vetrens (in different time and place). They were nice people, but could not be adjusted to normal civilian lives easily anymore.

I sometime thing this may be true, but the information will never reach the membe of public.

Anyone who have any information, please share.

I've been reading about Kuwait, and all accounts depict it as a modern country with lots of shopping, cinemas, etc. I'm aware that alcohol is illegal -- that doesn't bother me. Do the coffee shops ever have live music? Is there any culture besides going to the movies? Live theater? Dance? Art exhibits? If I take my guitar, will I have the opportunity to connect with other musicians to play music? I looked at the websites for Kuwait Univ. and American Univ. in Kuwait -- no programs in fine arts or music! What about yoga or tai chi classes -- anything like that? I'm interested in these kinds of activities because I am an artsy-alternative-minded person soon moving to Kuwait for the next few years. How would I best connect with like-minded people?
