Lefkada island - Greece / where to stay?

Hi there! Just want to know where to stay at the west side of Lefkada island where the best beaces are? Thanx alot for your reply.

Lefkada is amazing and the beaches on the west side of the island are among some of the best in Greece if not all of Europe.
The top spots are Porto Katsiski, Kathisma, Egremi and Agios Nikitas to name just a few. All of these beaches are fairly close to one another as Lefkada isn't a huge Island and all of the beaches on the western side are accessible by car. Most are very easily walked to from the car, but some do require walking down steep steps because the best beaches are surrounded by cliffs or by the steep side of the coastal mountains. Either way, they will be accessible by almost everyone, unless you are wheelchair bound.
I was last there this past September and stayed just outside of Lefkada town on the north side of the Island at a a place named Mira Resort, just overlooking the breathtaking northwest coast. The Mira was fantastic and offered everything the three of us were seeking (clean bungalow with modern rooms and accommodation, a fantastic pool area with a large, very clean pool overlooking the view, and set in a very quiet area that made us feel a million miles from touristy civilization.) I would recommend them fully as we will be going back there later this year as well.
