Stephen Starr restaurants are the way to go! Expensive, but fun! Jones is very good - it has a very retro, Brady Bunch type of theme. Continental Midtown has always been one of my favorites - they have a diner-like feel. And great drinks - which generally they don't card you for. I was there all the time during my pre-21 years, and I only got carded once. El Vez is also lots and lots of fun!
El Azteca (Mexican restaurant) is also a great time if you are looking for low-key and cheap. Bring your own tequila and they make great margaritas! Any of the "Copa" restaurants are pretty good as well.

A really fun place to go at your age is Buca di Beppo. It's great with a big group of people. All the food is italian served family style. So 3 or 4 of you can share one entree. If you have 5-6 people you can sit at the kitchen table, and if you have 13+ people you can request the pope's room. The whole place is one of this over the top, tacky places that is just a good time to go with friends.

There's also a Moroccan restaurant around 4th and Catharine called The Fez, which is cool. You sit on couches and eat with your fingers from the platter on a "stump" in the middle of all of you. They give you big towels that you keep on your lap to wipe your hands and they pour warm, scented water over them after the meal. They also have belly dancers on the weekend.
The Melting Pot is a lot of fun, too. My brother took me there for my birthday.

The Turkish restaurant sounds interesting, I'm going to check it out.
For something else you could try fondue - at The Melting Pot they have burners on the tables and everyone gets to stab their food and watch it cook. Its fun - I promise. And you can always end with a chocolate fondue. There's a melting pot in Center City near reading terminal market and another in Chestnut Hill on Germantown Ave-

My partner and I had fun at a Turkish restaurant in the Olde City neighborhood. They had a belly dancer there that knew her stuff, but she wasn't obnoxious. Something different.
