I'm going on a trip and will have to spend one night in a motel. How much money should I budget for a single night stay? I don't need anything fancy. If it matters I will be in the area of Birmingham area.

I plan to go to Sacramento from Orange county, but my dad thinks it's too far for a girl to drive there. I've never gotten a traffic ticket nor have been involved in an accident where I was at fault. Would it be that difficult to drive from OC to Sacramento?

so far i have visited, Mexico, Canada, France, Italy, Germany, Austria, Swizterland..This summer I am hoping to go to England, Ireland, Belgium, etc...
