Hi there, good question. 27000 will get you one Saver Award ticket within the Continental U.S. Saver seats are very limited due to black out dates. If you can save up a little more for a Standard Award, that has more flexibility, AND the airline considers a standard award ticket as they do a revenue based ticket. Otherwise you could do a 15,000 mile upgrade but only if you purchase a higher economy fare. If I am not mistaken I think you need a Y or B class fare to use only 15,000 miles to upgrade. Otherwise you would need 30,000 miles for the other upgrade awards. Good Luck!

I am a United Airlines mileage programme member. I think that you need around 30 000 miles to have a ticket within Europe. Or you can probably get an upgrade to business class on a transatlantic flight, but just one way.

Based on my experience with American Airlines, it will give you a return trip in Economy on any US domestic flight or an upgrade. The United Airlines website should have a page somewhere that can tell what you can get for your airmiles.

Nope, typically you need around 20 to 25 thousand miles for a free round trip ticket. Although, i do recall they do have a catalog where you can order a short term subscription to a magazine, but don't remember how many miles you needed for that.

One round-trip coach trip within the U.S., or an upgrade. It also depends which Saver program you're involved in.

Be aware that there are a limited number of saver seats available on each flight.

Here's the table:

Maybe an aisle seat.

Maybe.

But it is United, so I doubt it.
