I'd like to get a passport, but I no longer have my birth certificate. What can I do?

if were born in the states, you can order a copy from the county you were born.

You can apply for a replacement. Contact the local government offices in the county/city where you were born. If you live nearby you can go in and get one in person. Otherwise you should be able to do it by mail.

Write or go to the town you were born in and fill out a form, show ID and pay a small fee and they should give you one on the spot

You can get one from the city? county you were born in and you should be able to find exactly where online. Also get several copies as spares. And make sure they are certified copies.
