Is he related to Alain Delon? My bf told me that he's one of the most succesful young singer in Indonesia... is it true? Does he have such talent like Clay Aiken? I have to visit Bangkok in December. I am so worried because of the new military government and whether there could be any civil war or fights or panic situations.
Last year I visited there and I found Bangkok was very peaceful and It was one of best cities I have ever visted.
Can I visit there now with that assurance?

I've been looking into volunteering abroad next spring/summer with Cross Cultural Solutions. My first choice of the locations they have available is Cartago, Costa Rica.
Does anyone know how safe Cartago is? I mean, are there high crime rates? Are tourists and out of towners targeted? My mother claims that it isn't safe to go ANYWHERE outside of the USA because of so many other countries hating Americans and because of the way things are these days, but I don't believe that to be entirely true. I'm sure some places are unsafe (just like some places in America), but not all. So, that's what I'm wondering. How safe is Cartago for a 19 year old American girl? (I wouldn't be on my own. The organization sends several people at a time; lodging, transportation, everything provided.)
My 2 other choices would be Salvador, Brazil or Guatemala City, Guatemala. Anyone know how safe these places are?

I'd appreciate any info or insights! :)

decent place . Also I would like to know the various must sees & a rough estimate of how much time it would take. We are a few families with kids travelling so not into too much of hiking & stuff. my friend wants to go to a hotel with her bf
she is 17, and he is 21
will they ask her for her ID
can she walk in with him,
how can she get by with out any problems?
which hotels WOULD have a problem with it?
would they notify her parents?
they are going on a trip and need a place to stay at.
this is happening in the state of california i believe.

she sais her cousin has done this,
i think he walks in first,
and then after a little she walks in
but how can they do that without no one telling her anything?
