Hi, is it safe to travel through Delhi as chikungunya & dengue is spreading. I shall be in delhi (railway stations) briefly enroute Haridwar. Please suggest me what precautions to take.

It is totally safe to travel,
just make sure to wear full sleeves clothes and keep your body covered specially keep wearing the socks...
chikungunya mosquitos cant fly more then 1 feet so its better to keep your feet covered by wearing socks,
buy mosquito repellent like odomos,
if possible travel by AC but on the whole its nothing much to worry about

It is totally safe to travel through Delhi or anyother state. Dont worry about Dengue, chickengunya. Avoid being bitten by mosquitos anywhere all through ur journey. Use mosquito repellants all through ur journey.

Dengue is prevelant in most part of north/central India now. so even on reaching Hridwar u can't be sure that u r safe. wear full sleeves even during daytime and sleep inside net. don't ignore .. any symptoms and visit a doc. and most imp. don't worry .. there r thousands coming/going/crossing Delhi dailly, not everyone is getting infected. have a nice and healthy journey.

If you take precautions like using mosquito bites, use mosquito repellants, avoid eating out or taking water from unreliable source, you can feel safe

dont allow mosquitoes to come near u,use mosquito repellenant ,cream,net etc day and night
