my friend wants to go to a hotel with her bf
she is 17, and he is 21
will they ask her for her ID
can she walk in with him,
how can she get by with out any problems?
which hotels WOULD have a problem with it?
would they notify her parents?
they are going on a trip and need a place to stay at.
this is happening in the state of california i believe.

she sais her cousin has done this,
i think he walks in first,
and then after a little she walks in
but how can they do that without no one telling her anything?
i dont understand how her cousin did this, do you?

I really think it's a bad idea, but probably the bf can check them in as a married couple. They will ask for his ID. They most likely won't question her unless she looks younger than 17.

With most hotels you can be prosecuted if you sign up for a single room and bring another person in. That would be considered a theft of service.

She is of legal age in some states, so statutory rape may not enter into the discussion at all. However they should check local laws. Also, crossing state lines could be a problem. Like I said, this is not a very good idea.

I highly doubt she'll have any problem. Hotels don't want to upset or insult their guests, so I think she would have to look ridiculously young for the hotel to say anything. If they look about the same age, the hotel staff will just assume they are lovers away for a little vacation. And I've never heard of them checking anyone's ID except for the person who is paying for the room.
If she's that worried, she should not go up to the front desk when her bf checks in. She should just hang out in the lobby. Furthermore, if they were rude enough to ask, she could just say she doesn't have an ID with her.
I'm not sure why her cousin had to sneak in. You are allowed to have up to 2 guests in a single room. It's no extra charge.

I highly doubt they will ask for her ID. Why the hell would they as long as the guy is paying and is old enough to get a room. I dont think they can ask for her ID. Me and my boyfriend went to hotels plenty of times and they never asked for mine. Besides, 17 year olds nowadays look like their older, and the people probably wont even notice

tell your friend if she dosent want her bf to be writing her love letters on prison stationary that she had better wait until she is 18 until she does stuff like that. If they actually care about each other and arent just raging hormones, then they should be cool with waiting rather than risking it. p.s. if he takes her across a state line during their "trip" without her parents permission it becomes a federal offence rather than just a local matter

well if she is leaving state im going to say hell no. and if they ask her for id with him being of age her parents could throw him in jail. tell her to keep her pantys on and either wait till she is 18 or until she is married... that answer your question hand her some ice cubes and tell her too cool it
