I'm about to start applying for work in Montréal, but I'm wondering whether it is better to hand out résumés in French or English? The résumé I usually use is in English, and clearly states that I am proficient in French as well, but I'm worried that an English résumé might turn some employers off right away. Any thoughts?

My boyfriend is thinking of doing his university workplacement in the USA next year and im wanting too go with him, the only problem is, is that i am not a student and I want too know how I can go and work and live in the USA for a year? yes im planning a trip to the philippines to manila on the 20th of this month and my fiancee was telling me lastnight that they will not accept any travelers checks at any of the banks overthere as of right now . can you tell me if this is true cuz it dosent make sence to me cuz travelers checks can be used all around the world that i know of . i know they just had a typhoon but i dont know if that might have something to do with it or not . am i being skeemed please help me with this question .
