Does anyone know of a site where you can view detailed maps of certain areas?

Soon we'll be going on vacation, flying US Air... I don't fly on planes often... I'm excited-- I want a window seat so I can look at all the stuff below.

Any suggestions on getting a bump... I'd love the free plane tickets so we can go on vacation again next year!

Any other flying advice or tips that I might like?

I have a frequent flyer card for United, but can I use that card if I fly another airline? Or do I need a separate card for that other airline? Does this mean I'll have a few miles on each card instead of one big lump sum?

I will be having a trip to Alaska in late August. I'm planning to rent a car and just hit the road. Here's my plan: Anchorage -Denali NP - Fairbanks -Arctic Circle - Circle hot springs -Valdez-Seward.

I wanted to go on holiday there but i heard that the head scarf muslim wear is banned. I was under the impression that the people there are muslims and would be more welcoming to the head scarf.
