I'm thinking of swimming acorss Northern japan to china. Its 43 kms across. Do you know of anyone who has done it before. Also does any know the kind of water, temperature and wind conditions i should expect?

Not only is that likely illegal once you get to the country, it's likely fatal getting there. No wonder they don't have a Great Wall around the island...

I don't think Northen Japan and China is only 43km. Its more than 100km.

However, the distance between Tsushima island and South Korea is around 47-50 km.
Japanese, Mr. Igarashi, succeeded swimming several times.
