My husband died on 5/27, I need to put myself back on track. My planned future ended with his death. We own a cafe and I have about 7 more years on my lease. I have to keep this place open in his honor, it was OUR dream!

There seems to be a dearth of information on this topic: which beaches even allow horses on them, local regulations regarding what pace you can ride them, local boarding, etc. All I've found is a mention of Ocean Shores/Westport where the rental horses can only be ridden at a trot (I assume for liability reasons, and if you bring your own horse, you can ride it as fast as you want) Anywhere else that you know of?

My family of five also became very sick for two days. This was due to the fact they would not cancel the cruise and decided to go into a hurricane. The waves were 10 to 12 feet high and we felt all of it. They offered 25 dollars per family member as compensation. The cruise cost us at least 4300.

I've had nothing but mediocre meals during my visits to Estes. Have you had a good meal at a restaurant there? If so, where? I'm only interested in personal or word-of-mouth recommendations -- no search results from restaurant guides, please.

I have to fly into D.C. unexpectedly. I am looking into flights but am confused by the two airports (Reagan and Dulles). Are they close to each other or is one better than the other (I'll be ending up in downtown D.C.). Are they close to each other? Help? Thanks....

I visited Houston and was thinking of moving there, only I was the only white person almost everywhere in the Houston city limit. Very strange. Instead I moved to Florida.+

I am taking my friend on vacation. Want to spend $1000 or less on flight and hotel. She wants to go to Cozumel. But we have been offered a suite in the french quarters of New Orleans for free.
Both have had problems and both want the tourists. Which is the better place to go at that time of summer?

In most of my previous questions and answers I strongly criticised the arrogant behaviour of some Americans. To my surprise I've just learnt that some South Africans are not only proud to be South Africans, but are arrogant towards other nationals, especially those coming from other African countries. For instance, if I mention this word 'kwerekwere' you will know what I'm talking about. Is it possible for us to turn this around and welcome them as our brothers and sisters?
