I hope you like it HOT. It's HOT here....oh, about 11 months out of the year. You have to drive a lot, so you need a reliable car. All the roadways are always under construction. And some people here (I guess that's true everywhere) drive like idiots - but not ME : ) There are a lot of trees but no hills, and quite a few bayous that like to flood when it rains. Houston is very big and very diverse. ALL kinds of people live here and that's what I like about it. And most of them are really quite friendly.

Right now it's hot, with maybe some rain. You might not want to travel into Houston on busy work times. Houston traffic is the worst!

Congratulations you are heading to the Holy Land! Be sure to go through College Station outside of Houston....I like to call that Jerusalem on the Brazos.

It depends on what side of houston you are talking about.
It's hot durning the summer. 90+ every day,70's at nite.
Fast paced traffic.
