I visited Houston and was thinking of moving there, only I was the only white person almost everywhere in the Houston city limit. Very strange. Instead I moved to Florida.+

The true city limits of Houston have an extremelly small amount of the white people. That is why I did not move there as I wanted to live in the city limits. I did comb over the entire

Well consider the Hispanic population boosting up. Illegals are taking refuge in the outskirts of Houston too. I grew up in a all white neighborhood which is not 95% Hispanic. It's definatly noticeable.

What I think is strange is this question and most of the answers. I have lived in Houston all of my life. And, I've watched it changed in many ways. This is a very large city with all colors of people. It makes it more interesting. My skin is white and I've stayed in Florida awhile. I didn't just see white people. Not hardly.

Well, gee whiz, Houston missed out on getting another white person. I'm sure you'll be missed. Make sure you use sunscreen there in Florida.

Wow, apparently you really see much of Houston and racist. I stay on the north side of Houston & I'm no where near poor and I'm black. But to be honest with you, mainly the lower income range people stay in the city limits of Houston to better commute to their jobs & take advantage of public transportation. But Houston spreads out to far as Katy on the west side & to Baytown on the eastside. Houston is full of diverse ethnic groups. Sorry that you couldn't handle that.

obviously you didnt look too terribly hard at all of the houston within city limits. tons of white people live in the downtown area, perhaps you are not able to afford to live where the white people do within city limits. and quite frankly, i dont know why you would want to live within the city limits unless you work really close. its more expensive, congested, and only fun to visit downtown.

if you like to stereotype so much, i am going to assume you are old since you moved to florida or one of those disney maniacs since you are in orlando.

I live out side of Houston on the south side, where all the people are white. 3.1 million people here, 2.1 are white.

What part of florida? Can I come visit, need some fun in the sun.

Well, is this like a sterotype deal here. Perhaps there are not a lot of white people because they all moved to Florida.

I think you are too concerned about color and you must not have looked very hard. Houston is over 30 percent white.

I was born and raised in Houston and I think it is diverse in all ethnic groups.
