Ohio Time Zone Gmt

Ohio's time zone is USA Eastern Standard Time (EST), or Eastern Daylight Time (EDT) (Daylight Savings Time), depending on the time of the year. The first sunday in April (April 2, 2006) starts daylight savings time, so it is in the time zone of USA Eastern Daylight Time (EDT) right now. It changes back to standard time (EST) on the last sunday in October (October 29, 2006).

If you are looking for it as compaired to Greenwich Mean Time (GMT), then Ohio is currently Greenwich Mean Time minus 4 hours (because ohio is currently on Eastern Daylight Time), and it will be GMT minus 5 hours once it goes back to Eastern Standard time in October.

Hope this answered your question.

Ohio is in the Eastern Time Zone in the United States of America (USA). Eastern Standard Time (EST) is 5 hours behind Greenwich Mean Time (GMT-5).

Like most states in the USA, Daylight-Saving Time (DST) is observed in Ohio , where the time is shifted forward by 1 hour to Easten Daytime (EDT); which is 4 hours behind Greenwich Mean Time (GMT-4).

After the Summer months the time in Ohio is shifted back by 1 hour to US Eastern Standard Time (EST) or (GMT-5).

Ohio, as I understand it, has it's own time zone. Just take your current time zone and subtract 17 years.
